Naming Campaign to Honor Susan’s Legacy:
Susan L. Solomon Center for Precision Medicine
In tribute to our Founding CEO for her visionary and courageous leadership, the NYSCF Research Institute is naming our laboratory the Susan L. Solomon Center for Precision Medicine, which will deliver on the promise of precision medicine for the world’s patients.
The naming campaign for the Susan L. Solomon Center for Precision Medicine will enable two strategic priorities that began under Susan’s watch: a runway of support for the pioneering clinical research programs in our laboratory that will bear her name, and a critical expansion of NYSCF’s current facility at 619 W. 54th Street.
Clinical Research Programs
This campaign will support and enable a number of NYSCF’s clinical programs that are on the verge of reaching patients. These programs include a cellular therapy to treat age-related blindness, a clinical test that identifies – in advance – the best drugs that will be most effective for ovarian cancer patients, a drug discovery pipeline that combines artificial intelligence and robotics to advance precision medicine for several diseases, among other promising clinical programs.

NYSCF is expanding our facility in newly leased contiguous space on the 2nd floor of our building. The Solomon Center will provide not only much-needed traditional tissue culture lab space and workstations for our scientists, but also a new home for our groundbreaking cancer drug screening lab, our revolutionary precision medicine drug discovery center, and additional clinical-grade lab spaces, where we will conduct the essential work that will directly benefit patients.
